        Last night! One of my dearest friends and her husband come over every Wednesday night--we watch tv, eat junk food, and basically just laugh for hours. We call this "Family Night." We fully believe, that family is not only who you are related to, but also who you choose.

        And now I realize I don't have any pictures of the three of us..will have to remedy that next Wednesday. I put a pic of pizza rolls b/c we freaking love those things.

        I wish I had more time to create. I have ideas and visions of things but rarely have the time to follow through. And I have a lot of materials hanging about just waiting.

        And I mean more than just being crafty.

    • My Recurring Dream

      • The Color of Bare Feet

        I don't have the "naked-in-front-of-a-crowd" dream that a lot of people have..I dream a lot about being somewhere like school or work without any shoes on. Its like I was in a hurry and just left without putting any shoes on...or I just forgot. Can't remember that detail of the dream. But then I have this feeling of "Oh no! No shoes!"

        This is probably to blame on the "be prepared" mantra that has been drilled into my brain since birth. Probably why I usually have an extra pair of shoes in my car. Geez..I'm a nut job. :)

      • ways i spark the creativity:

        listen to music.
        write down thoughts.
        daydream.
        look at colors, patterns, and shapes around me.


        ways i express it once i've found it:

        choreograph a new piece.
        write.
        think of how to use camera to see things from a different angle or in a new way.
        take something i like -- and then change/modify it.
