I'm not really that into coffee, but when I do get a craving for some, I prefer to go have a cup with my parents. Coffee shops are too commercialized for my taste, not to mention overpriced, and I like the discussions I have with my father whenever I do decide to drop by.

The next book on my reading list is the national bestseller "A Short History of Everything", by Bill Bryson, a book my father actually suggested. I'm not absolutely clear on all the details of the book, but I believe that it has something to the meaning of life, from a scientific point of view.

I have a very big, somewhat dysfunctional family. Because of this,, evry single family vacation or get-together id memorable in some way. In fact, I can't remember one single time my family has gotten together - even for something as simple as eating dinner together- in which there wasn't at least one argument. This isn't necessarily a bad thing however, at least not in my opinion, because it makes our time together interesting, and most of the time we all end up laughing about it. One particularly memorable occasion, was when my Aunt, my cousin, and I were leaving my other Aunts house after a visit. I was sitting in the backseat of the car, and I told my Aunt Linda (whose house we were leaving from), that she had a hole in her sweatpants, high up on her thigh. She looks down and says "what this whole?", and proceeds to rip open the hole right there on the street in broad daylight, while my cousin and I watched in horror and my other Aunt laughed in hysterics! My family is crazy!!

Whenever I need a good laugh, all I have to do is find my eight year old daughter, Shelby. She is the funniest, and craziest little girl I have ever seen! Recently, she wanted to show us her acting skills and took pictures of herself acting out certain emotions. The pictures speak for themselves! Here's one of them...
