If I could be any winged animal or creature i would choose to be a dragon. Dragons are not only extremely powerful and can breath fire it can also live an extremly long and interesting life.

A gazelle running through an open field with hundreds of lions chasing it but the gazelle is to fast and soon the elephants come to save it and a huge battle ensues where lions are trying to eat everything. The elephants are to strong though and with their huge tusks that batted the lions away.
