- One Thing I Learned Recently

Lately I learned that you can have every good intention, every ounce of dedication, a lot of support and all the promises in the world - and still lose your job.
Losing a job is never pleasant. Losing it despite being a good worker is worse.

- I'd fit in well in Minority Report
-
I like things to be organized, I like to predict the future (and I'm often good at it) and I like playing with high-tech gadgets: A world with large multi-touch displays and jetpacks is a world I would fit right in.
Yes, I don't like my privacy being invaded that much, but I guess this is the price I will have to pay for having a robotic spider as a pet.

- If only Tel Aviv was closer to Europe
-
It's probably not the healthiest of situations, but most of my friends live at least 3000km away from me. For this reason only, it would be nice if Tel Aviv would be a within the European Union borders. It could have saved me a lot of money and longings.

- Oh, to be in Slovenia

The sights, the food and smells of Slovenia
I dreamed of visiting Slovenia for about 5 years, and even though I did visit it for about 36 hours back in 2005, it was just in the capital, Ljubljana.
The sights consist of mostly green mountains, covered with thick forests. It's quite funny how they describe what appeared to me as a full-scale mountain as a mere hill...
Like most of the mountainous, it contains a lot of pork, but they also like beef - actually, I think they like every 4-legged farm animal. Also, I think that the Slovenian pizza is much, much better than the Italian.
The air is very fresh (this country is 75% forest), so the air is very fresh, even inside the cities.
But the best part in Slovenia: the hospitality. I never encountered such hospitality. All my friends there went well beyond what I would call reasonable to help me out and make my stay there as pleasant as possible. Thank you so much Mateja, Nina and Mateja.
(Oh yes, they like the name Mateja)
