- Get to know Epik High

Epik High is a korean hip hop group made up of 3 cool dudes who writes and produces their own music. They have lots of great songs but these are my Top 3. I don't understand korean except some basic words but don't let it stop you from enjoying the music. Tablo, one of the main rappers in the group writes most of the songs. He is Korean but grew up in the US and studied in Stanford.
Song from their forurth album. One of their best songs in IMO. The beat is catchy and addicting plus it has a kick ass video. Check youtube for the vid with english subs. The song is about someone who experiences love to the point of obssession.
Another catchy song from the group. They make really cool vids so again check out youtube for the subs. Another song about relationships. Taken from the fifth album Pieces, Part One.
1 Minute 1 Second by Epik High
Song about not being able to let go of someone and every little thing you do reminds you of that person from their mini-album Lovescream.

- These KPop tunes need to be blasted full volume

I have been listening to lots of Korean pop acts recently. Not only are they eye candies but they can sing AND move. Most are dancey tunes and since I don't speak Hangeul, I don't understand half of what they are saying except for the english bits. But good music is good music. Doesn't matter if you understand the words, the beat speaks for itself.

- dress to impress

I say wear what makes you comfortable. Once you feel at ease and comfy then you would be more confident. However, for situation in which I need to look my professional best, I always go back to the basics. Basic colors like classic white or black always look professional and neat. Also, a nice sexy underwear under all that serious corporate outfit never fails to boost ones confidence (at least for me).

- My favorite line from 'Fight club'
-
I love the book and I love the movie. This is one of my favorite lines in the movie because growing up in a media driven world has given most of us unreal expectations about life and how it should turn out to be. Whats important and what we should aspire to. However, things are not that easy and when we find that out, its hard NOT to be bitter about it.
Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.
