I remember one time in history that my mom went balls crazy for the Juiceman juicer. I was about five years old when she made me watch that goddamn infomercial with her. They stuck whole carrots and whole apples in that thing, producing about 5 mLs of juice. My mom was amazed-- or something. I remember the look on my dad's face when she said she 'needed it'. She thought we would save a ton of money and lose a bunch of weight if we made our own juice.
I think we may have used it once. Its still at my dad's house.

I really did like the Showtime Rotisserie (of "Set it and Forget it" fame). I think its really neat that you can cook a whole chicken and then set a cool little thing on top to steam vegetables.

I also find myself very interested in the knives that never get dull. I like watching dudes use a knife to cut through a 2x4 and then use the same one to make perfectly thin-sliced tomatoes.

All TimeLife CD compilations are hard to resist, for sure. How could you not buy a boxed set of popular 80's romance songs?
