I'd cap a CEO's salary so that they can't make more than, say, 100-times what the lowest paid worker at their company makes. It's still be a very generous salary, and if they want a raise, they're gonna have to raise the lowest salary.

This is when I get embarrassed that I haven't read that many "good" books. But I remember reading The Giver when I was 11 or 12 and it definitely expanded my pre-adolescent mind. I was extremely fascinated by the fact that once the main boy started "receiving the memory" he could see color, since the world he lived it has become so regimented and sterilized the people saw in black and white. Crazy.
