      • Squirrel

        A squirrel! I have no idea why, but I've always wanted to have a pet squirrel. Probably because my grandparents (mostly my grandpa) have these squirrels that he feeds in his backyard. He feeds them so often (peanuts), that the squirrels aren't even frightened of him. They're so used to him that they come right up to him and take the peanut from his hand. (I've done it a couple of times and it's the cutest!) Once, a squirrel just up and went into their house! My grandma was so scared, she was chasing the squirrel around with a broom! Imagine!

    • How is technology changing the way families interact?

      • Well, I have no idea about other families but for mine it really affects us. It used to be that whenever someone needed something from someone else in the house, we would have to go to their room and tell them. Now, we just send them a text. It's kind of sad though. Nobody ever says 'good night' or 'good morning' or even 'how was your day' out loud anymore. So it has its pros, but it also has its cons.

    • Vent! What's going on in your life right now that's driving you nuts?

      • late winter stream

        Oh my gosh, everything! I have two relatives in the hospital, one of which has been in and out like crazy for the past year or two. Between that and just weekly stuff, life is crazy. Plus, I haven't gotten to see my two best friends in so long and it's making me irritable and stressed. I sometimes just want to take take a breather and just clothes my eyes and listen to some soothing music.

    • What are you Saving Up to Buy?

      • I'm saving up for a couple people's Christmas presents. I know it's kind of early, but I don't want to have to earn money at the last minute.
