    • Super Power
      • my brains - let me show you them

I think it's really interesting-- whenever I hear this question asked, the typical response is the ability to read minds. However, I would feel perpetually disheartened listening to the jealous, hateful, degrading and perverted thoughts that we humans keep secret from the rest of the world. Therefore, if I could have any super power, it would be to possess every single bit of knowledge in the entire world, save personal thoughts. Imagine if you knew every fact, every detail, every book... how incredible would that be? Aside from being intellectually superior, you could win an epic amount of money on Jeopardy.

    • Pride and Prejudice
      • I am absolutely in love with all things Jane Austen. Her work is just so sophisticated, witty and romantic. As I have been a long time fan of the book Pride and Prejudice, I was especially excited when it was adapted as a motion picture. Seeing all of the characters and scenes I had mentally visualized was so exciting-- I could watch this movie over and over again! Well, judiciously, of course... it is 5 hours long :]

Side note: the significantly shorter, condensed 2005 version with Keira Knightley is just as great in my mind. Although it leaves a few details out-- it is still a beautiful adaptation!

    • Poop, Hell and Funerals
      • My amazingly adorable sister, Sarai Elisabeth, is the funniest 4 year old I've ever met. The questions she asks and the conclusions she draws seriously kill me. The following are among her funnier comments:

"Brit... when I flush the toilet, does my poop go to hell?"

[My family was at a funeral, standing in line to view the casket]. Sarai states, "Mom, this is a waste of my time. My little leggies hurt."

        Ahhh, LOVE her to death.
