      • In response to: "What's the one thing you're never gonna give up?" Writing humorous articles and poems. I admire people's ability to find humour in the face of adversity. After spending a year in hospital with Guillain-Barre Syndrome life is quite challenging.

    • Imperfections
      • The imperfection that I cherish is my inability to spend my life doing just one job. When I was working (before my disability) I had a range of jobs three of which lasted nearly ten years. I met an amazing bunch of people from all walks of life who did some very diverse jobs. I count myself very fortunate that I was able to participate in a small way in their lives. Some of these memories I will treasure forever. Some of my poems allude to such precious moments in time. People are so very special, and far more important than anything else in life. The memory of a kind word or even a smile can brighten up one's life for years!!

    • Which season?
      • Most of all I look forward to the Autumn. The reds, browns and golden colours are so beautiful as one looks out over the countryside. The tang of pine and the smell of wood-smoke. Nature's final display of colour before the dark days of Winter.

    • Escape!
      • My ultimate escape plan will probably never happen, but it would be to break free from the constraints of disability. Be Adventurous - Be Happy - Be FREE!! Live your dream. Let no person limit your potential - Because one never knows when life will change forever !!
