Headaches and I are like two peas in a pod. We're inseparable. He's an old friend I'd like to forget but I'll miss whenever he's not around. And when he comes to visit, I dreaded that I even wished he's here.

I have a quite severe cases of migraines in my life. I think the first ever I realized I had migraine is when I'm in high school. I used to walk under blazing scorching hot afternoon sun when I was in high school. I had to walk about 1 km from my school to the nearest LRT station and then another 2.5 km from the LRT station to my house. And then sometimes, I'd stop by the McDonald's next to the LRT station to buy me some Coke to drink after I've walked from school. That is when my migraine's triggered. Carbonated drinks and heat wave is the perfect combo for migraine.

I remember coming home and feeling sick and having nagging headache. I would lie down or drink water but the headache won't go away. Sometimes I'd lie on my mothers lap and she'll massage my head though she's not really massaging my head but more of running her fingers through my hair but somehow it helps me relax a bit. Some other times I'd just take aspirins or paracetamol to help me sleep. Sleep is the easiest way to cure a headache, hands down.

Nowadays, whenever I have a headache, I'd just try to close down all the curtains, make the room as dark as possible, shut all doors, lie down on my bed and try to get some sleep without the help of any medications because I don't wanna depend on them all the time - it's not good you know. And I also try not to drink carbonated drinks and drink a lot of water especially during hot weather. And oh, I also find that sometimes chocolate triggers headache too so I'd try to avoid eating them during hot weather.

It's becoming a routine recently, that the first thing I'd do after I shut the alarm is to groggily read new tweets on my phone. It's a good thing I guess because I rarely have time to read the newspapers and stuff so I keep myself updated with the outside world by Twitter. ;)

Breakfast in car
I'm always running late for work but I have to have my breakfast because I've weak stomach and I'll throw up if I've to go for more than 3 hours of not eating. And I hate eating breakfast at work because I feel like it's a sign I'm not ready to start work right on time. So the best place eating breakfast for me is during my journey to work which is in my car.

Play with my cats
I think I'm gonna grow old and become a cat lady or something. To think that I used to be so afraid of cats but now I'm a cat lover. More on that later... :)
