    • When I'm Most Productive
      • When I'm under pressure and/or have some sort of deadline to meet. This rarely happens to me because my workplace is so laid back, but whenever it does, that's when I shine the most, I think. Music also helps; I usually put on my headphones while I'm working on stuff for my website... when I'm writing marketing content at work, I'll also listen to Pandora on my iPhone.

    • How I'd Respond If I Bumped Into My Ex
      • Well, first of all, I think I'd be super nervous. He's the one and only person who has ever truly broken my heart and who I thought I'd have a shot at a future with when I was younger. It's one of those things where you kinda wish they had done something really harsh, like cheat... because at least then you could be like, "Oh look, it's THAT asshole" and completely blow it off. But when you're dealing with someone who isn't mean-spirited like that... that'd be really hard, I think. I don't know if I'd even say anything, but you have to take a variety of different factors into consideration. Did he see me at all? If not, then I'd probably hide until he was gone (LOL). And if he saw me first, I'd probably just keep going about my business, hoping he didn't even recognize me. Every time you see this type of scenario on TV or in movies, it seems like the woman always runs to the nearest restroom and makes sure her hair and makeup are looking fabulous and then purposely bumps right into him, etc. That just seems silly to me. Why do you need to look good for your ex? I don't know. Maybe it'd be different if we were both single, but we're both happily married, so no. Just no. If for some reason, I was absolutely unable to avoid interaction with him, then I honestly don't know what I'd say or do. I guess just wave and keep walking. Besides, he'd probably be with his wife. Even better -- that means he'd probably avoid me like the plague. :D Or maybe he'd just avoid me like the plague anyway, wife or not. I don't know. This prompt is pretty much irrelevant anyway; I don't foresee us being in the same vacinity like, ever.

    • On Acquired Tastes
      • Foods: Most cheeses. Mushrooms. Mayonnaise (if that counts). Tobiko or any other type of fish eggs... too salt and the way they pop inside of your mouth is just fuckin' freaky. :C Black licorice.

Drinks: Big Red. Ouzo. V8 (even if it's the so-called 'fruity' kind).

    • On Predicting My Future
      • Absolutely not. January of this year marked 10 years since my parents initially divorced. It was the beginning of a long-lasting downward spiral for me. I engaged in self-destructive behavior, suffered from terrible low self-esteem, made bad dating decisions and overall life decisions... it wasn't until I was 19 that I got help for my issues, thanks to my family, and managed to get my shit together. 10 years ago, I honestly felt like I didn't have a future. I'm now in a happy, healthy marriage and have a job that I love. I'm in school -- sure, it may take me 4 years to obtain a simple AAS, but I'm doing it by myself and while I'm working full-time. Family and friends who would do anything for me. A house of my own. 10 years ago, I didn't think happiness would ever be in the cards for me or that I'd have ANY of these things, but that's how things tend to feel when you possess a victim mentality as I once did. I'm proud of the progress I've made and who I am today. And no one can ever take that away from me -- ever. Every day is truly a blessing.
