It's small and intimate, but with a few tables scattered around the edges of the floor and the bar area separated with a half-wall, so it's easy to relax and get out of the way if you don't like the opening bands, or whatever. The bands usually hang out on the floor before and after their sets, which is really cool.

Because life is more comfortable without shoes. I sometimes switch to more comfortable pants, too, but rarely all the way down to pajamas.
