- My Handwriting
-
My handwriting looks like something a person with cerebral palsy would create in calligraphy class.
My handwriting looks like the reading on a richter scale that's low on batteries.
My handwriting gives off the impression that I write everything while sitting in the back of a rape van.
Everything I write looks like a ransom note.
If my handwriting were an entree, it would be a turd dipped in humus.
If I had a seizure right now, it could only HELP my handwriting.

- The Best Halloween Costume I've Ever Seen
-
I'm not sure if this sighting would qualify as a costume but if anything, it's the funniest damn Halloween accessory I ever saw back in high school.
In was an October in the mid 90's. I was at a high school football game and one of the players got injured. As most of you know, it's customary to remain silent when an injured player is down. Then you would applaud when the player finally gets up and limps to the sideline.
Well in this case, we were about 45 seconds into the silence. A classmate in front of me then tucked his head down and came back up in a condom hat. He didn't say anything or make a huge gesture as to say, "hey look at me, I'm crazy." He just sat in silence with a condom on his head. I nearly turned red trying to hold in the laughter.
His comic timing was perfect and so was the prophylactic headpiece. It wasn't over the top but yet just enough to stand out. To this day, I still chuckle when I see a condom hat. One might have to include a shower curtain or some Saran wrap to call it a full costume but it's always a winner in my book.

- Three Songs I Never Get Sick of
-
It was the hit single on the first piece of vinyl I ever owned. Therefore I could listen to it again and again.
It was my first CD that I owned. The inner depressed teen in me could hear this on repeat.

- This Movie Always Gets to Me
-
I admit, I probably haven't seen this movie in at least 25 years but I don't ever recall crying so hard as I did when I watched 1977's Dot and the Kangaroo.
I'm guessing I was charmed by the childlike voice of Barbara Frawley as she befriended a wild animal just as I played with many stray animals in my youth.
My tear-filled eyes remember the Aussie film ending with the animated Kangaroo hopping away in a live-action forest. Those tears revisited decades later as I came home to an empty room after an ex-girlfriend took my DVD collection and only left my DVD copy of Dot and the Kangaroo that I found in the dollar bin at Wal-Mart.
I've contemplated watching the film from time to time but every time I see the DVD case sitting on my shelf, I keep thinking of that bitch who took my Spinal Tap DVD.
Again... tears.

- My Super-Pet
-
When creating a super pet, I must first take a page out from Napoleon Dynamite's book. The liger is a winning combo of a lion and a tiger, as it is bred for it's skills in magic.
What I would dare add is a unicorn horn. That way, my super pet would also fart rainbows. The three-creatured pet will now be known as a ligercorn.
