- A Difficult Choice I'm Glad I Made
-
I'm glad that I made a choice to take a risk. I know it sounds lame, but if I didn't allow myself to give in to my emotions for once, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I wouldn't be very happy and I might even have topped myself by now. I think I needed the defense system at the time, and I may need it again, but for now...I'm enjoying the oasis. And it was very scary to open myself up to potential pain and if it goes wrong, I don't think I could do it again. But I am so, so happy with the way it turned out for now. He's worth everything.

- Five Things I'm Good At
-
Uh. Okay.
1) Procrastinating. I know it's not a good thing, but I'm good at it.
2) Tying knots.
3) Uh.
4) Genuinely all I can think of, which is really embarrassing.
5) Sucking?

- On Silence
-
Obviously, it depends on the situation. But on a whole, no. I enjoy silence. I don't feel the need to make conversation just because someone else is there, because that would only result in me saying things that aren't worth talking about. My words are worth more if I mean them when I say them.

- Finding Creative Inspiration
-
I draw my creative inspiration from nature, I think. Yes, literally trees and lakes and the sky, but also from humans. The exact planes that form my partner's face, or quite how his hands curl around the neck of his guitar. That's another thing. Music. Thematic music especially, trailer-type music can bring a story to life. I'll start thinking what a dramatic action scene this would make, but there's a soft hint of romance, so why would two lovers be fighting? Perhaps...
My favourite "creative project" is, without a doubt, writing. I also like drawing/painting, sewing or crafting, but writing outstrips anything else. It's where...I don't know. It's where I'm comfortable, sitting in between all the words. I know how they work. I can understand them, and they understand me too. They define me, for what am I that uses no language? It's the soul of our being, the thread of our experiences in life.

- When I'm Happiest
-
I'm at my happiest:
1) Outside, alone, in nature.
2) Writing.
3) Last and most powerfully: when with my lover.
