    • Books Versus Their Movie Versions

      • Roller Coaster!

        In my opinion the book is usually better than the movie because it gives more information and detail and goes in a way we can understand. And if we don't understand, we can just reread the part we don't get or google it or something. In a movie they are forced to take out a lot of stuff to keep it within the usual hour and a half time limit that all movies seem to have. This makes them usually very jumpy and much harder to understand. And you can't really rewind the movie in a theater to see something you didn't understand again to clarify.
        Watching a movie is like being on a roller-coaster. You can't control what's going on at all, but it's still fun.
        Reading is like driving. You control just about everything, but the experience is still fun and it resembles a roller-coaster in some ways.

    • What I Worry About

      • Guard Dog!

        The one thing I worry about is something happening to someone in my family. Whenever we go out anywhere if our group splits up for any reason at all I always make sure to go with whoever is alone or in the back. I don't want anything to happen to them, and if being with them helps prevent anything from happening then I am going to be right there at all times.

      • Like A Bird On A Wire

        My favorite summertime sound would have to be of the birds. Now that I actually have time to just sit down and relax a bit I've realized how much I like listening to them chirp around and do whatever birds do. ^_^

      • What makes us human

        The one childhood lesson that has always stuck with me is that you need to respect people no matter what, especially if they are your elders. I see people being rude and disrespectful to people older and wiser than them and it infuriates me. Do they honestly think they want to be treated like that at that age? I bet not!
