1. Make it through my first year of uni (PASS)
2. Make churros, from scratch.
3. Watch 52 new movies in the cinema.
4. Take a long road trip somewhere new.
5. Get into an exercise regime, stick to it, get fit.
6. Explore the whole city (Sydney/Darling Harbour)
7. Complete 1 entire set of comic books in my collection.
8. Donate: clothes, stuff I don't use, money etc.
9. Stay in bed for a whole day.
This conquest would obviously exempt trips to the toilet and meals prepared a day before.
10. Fall in love. I can imagine this would be a nice feeling and would like to experience it by the end of the year.

Tantrum throwing children .. with their parents nearby doing absolutely fuck all about it.
I understand there are the unfortunate families with children who are mentally handicapped and cannot control their actions (I have an autistic nephew).. they are the exception to this. When I can see they are just brats who didn't get the toy they wanted.. then I want to walk up to them and enforce some corporal punishment.

I don't like waiting. It's not my idea of fun- nor is it an ideal way to get something. If people were a bit wiser, there would be no need for waiting.
The longest I had to wait was quite recently.
A few of my friends and I were going to the last night of our favourite club before it turned into something awful.
We had to buy tickets and all. We got there and no shit the line was about 200 meters long.
Thinking that we could waltz right in because we had tickets, proved to be unlikely, as the people in front were complaining about the same thing.
1 hour, to get into my favourite club, holding tickets, in the freezing cold.
That is NOT ON!
I think is was 2 years ago.
And friend and I decided to try and write letters to each other to keep in touch.
Lasted about 4 letters (all up).
Now we just call each other like normal people.
I've said it before.
And I'll say it again.
I love Spain
I'm going to move there. Live there. And love it.
So tonight. I want to go to Spain, for some traditional Spanish cuisine.
I was waiting for a friend in the city.
He was late.
There was a shoe store.

I tend to stare off into space at times; not really thinking about anything, and someone happens to walk into my line of vision (and I haven't noticed) and I look like I've just given them the once over and have disapproved.
On the inside I am smiling (unless I'm having a shit day of course) and I unfortunately cannot bring it to the surface so I can appear approachable and not like an angry twat.
Recently I have started smiling more, but I think I now just look a little bit like a head case.

Theory 1- My mothers favourite book/movie is 'Gone with the Wind'. She claims to me that she positively loved the scene where Scarlett held the soil of her plantation and cried out "TARA". And that is where my name came from (supposedly)

It is the middle of the night and I wake up, everything seems real.
I hear a strange noise and step outside my room, but wait in the door way.

I run towards my parents room.

I try to scream but nothing comes out.
They catch me.

I love this store; it has everything technology wise you would want. Including dvds and cds.
I spend an hour in JB easily just gazing at all the movies and music I wish to own.
The way I see it; I'm not very fashionable and do not care for much materialistic things. I will grow out and tired of clothes and accessories.
My music and movies will never cease to entertain me. And that is where my money shall go.
and of course a little weed to make the movies and music all the more better :D
Being a 19 year old student I really don't care much about things outside of university, family, coffee, what I'm going to eat for dinner, friends, how stressed I am, and I think those are the main things.
However, it is the law here in Australia to vote once you turn 18; which I believe to be complete bullshit. Most people my age, and generally a lot of people in the world, just do not give a shit about politics.
This is a huge problem as these youngins make up a vast majority of people who are deciding our future. We go in and vote for "the greens" or "the sex party" because they sound interesting and we have no fucking clue what we are doing.
Therefore- I wish I knew (wanted to want to know) more about politics, about the people running our country (beside the utter crap they publish about them through the media), about what will happen when said people get chosen. So I don't feel so damn bad about deciding for the country and resenting it.
... on a more serious note
Make the legal voting age 25.
That's when people generally start giving a damn.
In Australia, we have to vote when we're 18. About 90% of us could not give two shits about who runs the country because we're naive kids.
And I take it that's what the rest of the world is like.
However! If you are 18 and actually like politics and think your vote is serious and will count.. by all means go for it.
Yes.. because who is running your country is quite important. And society shouldn't let dip shits like me have any effect/impact on such a crucial decision.
Living in Sydney Australia, I cant really complain. It's a beautiful country, it's still young, therefore hasn't been too damaged by society, politics, famine, poverty... yet.
However, it just isn't hitting the spot for me. It's home and I'll always love it, but there is no culture here. Not anything exciting, or deep, or beautiful. Settlers came and killed most of the natives (which is the case for most colonies/places/countries). Other countries do have more to them than the mass homicide of a countries inhabitants.
There's depth and excitement in many places. The one place that shouts at me to come to her, is Spain. I love everything about Spain. The land, the history, the events (running with the bulls, tomato fight), the sexy language, the stunning people, the way they live. Spain is really calling my name.
Barcelona would be my more specific destination. Once I get my degree in education, I want to go to Spain and teach there for a while. Of course I'll eventually come back home, because that's life, my family is here. And home is where the heart is.
Spain will be my 3 year fling of a home.
When I force myself away from t.v. and the computer.. and push myself to go outdoors, read a book, or paint something.. that's when my best ideas come to me.
Or in a rare occasion like about 2 weeks ago; I had a dream- it lead to an idea for a comic book. It's a working process, but dreams tend to give me some good creative fuel.
I joke, slightly.
Generally I try not to sound like a headcase when I talk.
I do say "dude" frequently though, it's terrible. Along with "awesome", "wicked" and "rad" on occasion.
I hate myself
My folks came here from Yugoslavia (as it was known back then) when they were 15 and 18.. they are 53 and 62 now.
So I know little about my ancestry because my parents never bothered to tell me anything beyond their history.
Like I said; "full of themselves".

And in reality I think the main idea is for "this year to be better than the last". Everyone has bad years, and 2010 was no picnic for me or my family.
So if 2011 is not as bad, I'll be satisfied.
Spain is my ultimate destination. Run with the bulls, throw tomatoes, and enjoy the culture, the serenity, the beauty it has to offer. First stop, Barcelona.
Brazil. Same sort of reason, the culture, La Carnivale. Now that would be a trip. Just shop all day and party all night, in killer costumes mind you!
And of course England/Ireland. I know two completely different places, but both cold. And form what I've hear about the two countries; they are perfect for me to reside in for a long period of time. England = cool. Ireland = drunk ( I kid... sorta)
Plus Mexico, Italy, San Fransisco, Jamaica, Russia, Japan, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium etc.
Expectations:
Sitting on the porch.
Looking out to an open ocean.
Having a nice cup of tea/or beer if it's hot.
A good book.
Drifting in and out of sleep.
In a comfy chair.
Reality:
Work. Usually.
Getting yelled at by parents for not being home/doing work when I am home.
Restless sleep/no sleep in.
No cup of tea/or beer.
Standing up/running around all day.
City pollution for a view.
