    • It's Technically My Lifeline
      • All of us know that there is that one item that you can't leave your home without. It's usually something essential and useful such as your cellphone or your car keys. But me, I'm only 15. I don't have a phone, a car, or a care in the world. So I go with a flow and stick to taking my iPod everywhere I go with me. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a horcrux of mine. Haha!

I love my iPod. It satisfies my entertainment needs and extinguishes all flames of boredom. I have to take it on all car rides, long or short. I have to take it when I go jogging. I have to take it if I go walk my dog. I HAVE to take it when I go to school! So, honestly, there won't be a day where you won't see me rocking out to my iPod in public. Haha!

Now if for some reason I have to leave it home because it's charging or I simply forget it, I begin to feel the worst of withdrawal symptoms. I'll begin to hum to a tune when I'm like, "Wait... I could be listening to this on my iPod!" Then I go reach in my pocket to play a quick round of Tiny Wings and then I remember, I didn't bring it! So if I don't have my iPod, I turn into a grouchy old hermit that will pretty much be pissed throughout the entire day. Haha!

    • The Mixed Grill of my Heart
      • The best dish I have ever had at a restaurant had been the mixed grill at Olive Garden. Honesty, I crave it every day. Call me a gluton but it was just that delightful! The meal is composed of steak, chicken, and baked potatoes all in one plate. It sure is a lot to eat but boy do you enjoy every bit of it. Whenever it's time to leave the restaurant I always dread the fact that it probably won't be until next year that I will actually be able to eat it again.

Mixed grill, I love you so much!

    • My Power To Do Anything
      • If God were to grant me the gift of being a superhero, I would want my special super power to be the power of doing anything. I know that this sounds like more than one super power and I was only supposed to pick one but let me do some further explanation.

        S is for Superman

To have the power of doing anything pretty much counts as one power. Now I know that I said that I was going to take the time to explain how this is only one super power but considering the fact that it's pretty much self explanatory, I won't waste the time to elaborate ;). But I am going to take the time to explain what I will do with my superpower. I will do everything since I will have the ability to do anything. Any questions?

    • Power Outage... Shoot!
      • A thunderstorm arrives and a power outage occurs. What will I do to keep me occupied? Keep reading to find out...

        Thunderstorm over Chesapeake Bay

If I ever have the misfortune of being stuck in a power outage due to the cause of a thunderstorm, I think I would do a lot of writing (with a flashlight of course.) I would write about being stuck in a thunderstorm (how creative of me.) And then, after I get tired of writing, I will do more writing by catching up on taking notes for AP Biology. Considering the fact that I have nothing else to do, that will be the only thing to keep me busy. And then once I think that I've done enough learning about eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, I will listen to my iPod to help me calm my mind after a couple of hours of rigorous note taking and self-quizing. And if the power is still not back before I am done listening to my iPod, I will go to sleep. It's pitch dark, isn't it? Might as well... Lol

    • The One Who Got Away
      • We have all had that moment when he had something taken away by technology. It has advanced so much that it is able to malfunction twice as easily, considering the fact that I've had first-hand experience. Let me explain...

        Pen and Paper

So about a month ago. My desire to write a book has grown so greatly that I decided to go for it. So I picked up a notebook and a pen and began creating the storyline, characters, etc. Once I was finished, I took to the computer and started writing the prologue and chapter of the book (if I would've known any better, I would have just kept writing the book in my notebook.) After about 3 days, I finished writing the beginning of my book and decided to begin editing. After I was finished, I sat back and re read every single and word and thought to myself, "This could potentially appear on the New York Times Bestseller list if I ever get to publish." And I decided I was finished and clicked save and that's when I realized I just committed the biggest mistake in my life...

You see, I had my book saved onto my flash drive and whenever I was done working on it on my desktop I would save it onto my flash drive and delete it off of my computer. And whenever I would decide to work on it again, I would open my flash drive and "Save As..." my book onto my documents and work on it from there because whenever I save directly to my flash drive, it turns the file into a .tmp file meaning that I loose everything. Absolutely everything... Whenever I tried to open the file back up it would tell me that it doesn't exist and worst of all, it deleted itself off of my flash drive... Talk about the perfect FML post... :\
