    • A winter memory..."I'm Mr. Solo Dolo"
      • I saw this prompt and I just thought..."this is perfect". :D

Alright, let me start this off Frankenstein-esque. It was a mid-January morning. There was a chill in the air as the temperature hovered a several degrees below freezing. One of those "hells yeah, I can see me breath" days...you know the ones. The three mile trip I made daily to school, all too familiar but the cold seemingly snatching the very oxygen from my lungs. What started as a slight flurry was now heavily hampering visibility. "Pick up the pace." I'm often late but never have I travelled these streets and seen nobody for nearly half an hour. As far as I know, its me and my iPod...and I wouldn't have it any other way. As I begin to turn down the final hill, the chimes start to resonate in my earbuds followed by this obscure piano loop. I could see clearly, a bright typical summer morning abruptly put to an end by the blizzard that now surrounded me. "Listen good, I don't have nobody". Strangely enough...I could relate. Winter, though my favorite season, I thrive at no time like Spring. The snow starts to stick onto the trees and at yet another intersection, not a high-beam or a street light in sight. "I'm Mr. Solo Dolo". And the track rings out just as it opened, with a single chime.

Is that an enormously gay winter memory? -_-

"I told niggas on the low, but they ain't here it though
Boy that man in the mirror is a miracle"

I mean, what more explanation do you need.

        Lace Up My Chuck Taylors

        Rush My Ass To School
Cause I'm always late. Dick those 3 miles to school in my Chucks.

    • Tracks that get MORE than their fair share of love but I still enjoy.
      • All three within the top 10 of the billboard right now. I love em all and each for very different reasons. Funny how much of an influence music has. You can listen to a song with...lets say a girl on your mind...and I don't watn to see the music can "fabricate" feelings but it no doubt makes them appear stronger than before. I think both of these with the exception of the 3rd has had that effect. But that shouldn't be too difficult an effect to reach when the radio is beating you over the head with it. The "Blunt Trauma Effect" if you please. =D
