If your craving an Authentic atmosphere and your ever in Texas, then you really have to lby the Old Mexican Inn Restaraunt.
Nothing much has changed since the opening in the 1940's and the food is so delicious that I could not recommend just one dish. I would say that you have to sample them all.
Of course I have my favorites and that would be the Monterry Special which consists of beef and cheese enchilladas and tamale covered with chili and onions, with a small tostada cup filled with queso. Onions and black olives top off the meal along with the refried beans that are just wonderful.
Ice cold Margaritas frozen or on the rocks create the perfect ambience as well as the many speciality margaritas they have on the menu. Another favorite is the Tropical Crush made with fruit juices and rum.
All restaraunts have a secret of some kind and Old Mexican Inn (OMI) for short is no exception.
No one knows what is in the signature orange dip that brings the taste buds opening in a way that is pure OMG pleasure.
So if your ever in Corsicana Texas, famous for the Collin Street Bakery fruit cakes, you must find your way to Old Mexican Inn.
Lost? Just pull over and ask where you can find the best Mexican food and anyone can tell you. If nothing else just follow your nose west on Hwy 31 and enjoy.

Oh My Dream House....
I have had this vision for years and it rarely ever changes, just a few details here and there.
A two story adobe with upper balconies. Each bed room would have french doors that opened up overlooking a court yard.
The bottom floor would be open and airy, plenty of space and lots of color. Plants filling the entire house, a sweeping stair case, and a kitchen that would have every modern convience as well as a fireplace to really be the symbol of Home and Hearth.
It would be a place filled with laughing children, family and friends. It would say "Welcome" it would breath Love into everyone who entered. That is my dream house. A house that would really be a home.

The games. I hate all those crystal or send me or ok's that are listed by all that plays the games. I especially think that those are a waste of time and space.
I hate the re-post options. I mean really, I don't have time to sit down and re-post whether I like it or not. And I hate those that try and make me feel guilty as hell if I don't repost. Take this one for exampl..... Re-Post if you love your daughter more than anything.
I love my daughter, sons, grandkids, brothers and sisters and my friends, I should not have to re-post for them to see it and to know I love them.
Last of all, I hate all of the mundane status's. For those of us that see "I love my family" each and every time you update your status it is very annoying. Any and everyone who knows you knows that you love your family. Posting it once every month is fine, but really do you have to do it 20 times a day. And... here is another.... Taking a shower, washing my hair and shaving my legs... Who cares?????????? I think that is just to much information.
Save your status updates for fun and good stuff. Because if you don't your gonna get de-friended by me
