    <title>Telling It Like It Is</title>

That depends on whom I&#39;m talking to. If I&#39;m talking to a dear friend where there&#39;s mutual trust then I&#39;d tell it like it is but with kindness and love. One can still be honest with kindness. You don&#39;t have to be brutally honest and hurt someones feelings. Compassion and kindness should always be the guiding force. I might hold my tongue where there&#39;s people whom I do not know involved, or if I don&#39;t know the whole story. Discretion is indeed an important watch word.

    <title>What I'm Irrational About</title>

I used to be irrational about spiders but not anymore, in fact I love them now. However, in years past I was completely irrational about them. If I even saw a spider bigger than a pin head I would shake all over, squeal and cry like a baby. I&#39;d have to get someone to either kill it or catch it and dispose of it outside. Then for at least an hour afterwars I&#39;d be cringing and looking in corners of the room to see if it came back. I don&#39;t know when my irrational fear stopped but it just did. Now I have gadzillions in the garden and I go out and stroke them, feed them and talk to them. House spiders I tend not to stroke but I can catch them in my hands and place them in safety away from my spider eating cats.

It would be wonderful to go up into space no doubt but I think I&#39;d rather have free international travel for life. Why? Because this planet on which we live is magnificent and glorious and I&#39;d just love to explore it. I&#39;d love to visit tribes in the Amazon and live with them and explore the rainforest, I&#39;d love to visit Africa and the magnificent Okavanga Delta, I would love to go to Italy, Turkey and Greece and see the fantastic ancient sites. I&#39;d love to got to Yellowstone National Park and be one with nature....so much more too!

    <title>A Must-See Documentary</title>

One of the best documentary series I&#39;ve seen is Tribe by Bruce Parry. Of course, Bruce is rather eye candy but this is beside the point. The reason why this series was so inspiring is the way he really got an understanding of all the tribes he visited. He was no mere visitor but really &#39;got down and dirty&#39; with them - entering into their culture with willingness and an awful lot of respect. However, I think the most important thing about the whole series is the knowledge it provides for each one of us. The understanding that these tribal peoples have got it right and those of us in the Western World have an awful lot to learn and would do well to pay more attention to the tribal peoples of the world, no matter where they are. I&#39;m not saying we have to give it all up and go live in mud huts - no! But we sure can learn a lot about respect for our home, the Earth, each other and community.

The food I was most surprised to like, or rather the meal, was home made potato soup with blueberry muffins. I baulked at this for a while - insisting it wouldn&#39;t be at all pleasant but eventually when I actually agreed to eat it, I was pleasantly surprised how very nice it was. Which just shows you never to say you don&#39;t like something unless you&#39;ve tried it.
