        I am ashamed to admit that I have just about every gadget I've ever thought I wanted - the iPhone, iPods, speaker system, laptop, PC, GPS device, etc. We even have a big-screen HDTV already. (I suppose I could wish for another, for my office or bedroom, but it would seem gratuitous to me.) Until very recently, I really wanted a mini PC/netbook - but I just ordered one from HP! (It will be here next week!)

        So the only gadget I really, really want is: an Amazon Kindle.

    • This book made me laugh so hard it hurt.

      • All of Sedaris's books are pretty funny, but this one in particular really struck a chord with me. In particular, "You Can't Kill the Rooster" is the highlight of this collection of short stories and essays. All I can say is, it is the funniest use of expletives in any material I have ever seen.
