I'm sure it would get old after a while. I can always go back to an island, but without rescue or means to leave, you could risk suffering a hurricane or tidal wave, disease, or any number of things that would put an end to the fantasy that living on a deserted island is paradise. I like my indoor plumbing and ultra soft toilet paper thank you very much.
