Saw The Sounds here two times. Best shows ever. It's personal, but big enough to get a good crowd. It's old school, it feels how a show should feel. And I especially like the outside and the way it says who is playing that night.

White elephants are not fun. Especially with people who don't take it seriously. You can try and try and get the best gift for $5, $10, $15 dollars, but someone will always lose out because someone will always get something no one wants. And that's just mean. Who wants to be that person that gets stuck with the weird scented candle that makes you sneeze because you're allergic to that kind of stuff?!? Unless there is talk about taking it seriously and really putting work into it, I don't do white elephants.

Aside from that little rant, I think gift cards are the best present. Or something people always need, but never think they reallyyy need, like office/school supplies or socks.
