- If I Could Speak to a Family Member Who Has Passed
-
I would love to speak to my grandpa Chuck! I never really met him because I was only 11 months old when he passed away. Everyone always tells me that he was always holding me when I was a baby. I would definitely choose him. In all honesty, I would like to speak to both of my grandpas. My other grandpa George passed away when I was only 9 so I don't have a lot of memories of him either.

- Hoping for Good News

Without a doubt it would be good news about my kiddos. It would be a phone call to tell me they are coming home for good! No more of this 8 hour back and forth BS. Yep, that would be the best news ever!

- What I'm Looking Forward to Most in 2011
-
I'm most definitely looking forward to spending the summer with my kids. That is the number one thing I'm more than excited about!

- 14 Things That Make Me Happy (almost all about my kids too).

My children
Because they are awesome, amazing, little people (or not so little people in the case of my 2 oldest)! They are the loves of my life!
Random text messages and phone calls from my daughters
Because my daughters are so damn funny and I love that they love to call me just to tell me random things that have happened throughout the day!
Road trips with my kids
Because we blast the music and crack up laughing for hours! Classic Ashley dancing in the car so that it looks as if she's pointing to the drivers around us as we pass by. Ash waving the truckers down so she can get them to honk their horns. Ri constantly asking us to pause the song because she has to tell us something.
Playing cards with my daughters
During the summer we were up till 2AM playing spoons, blackjack, and poker. Being so loud that we constantly had to close the windows so we wouldn't disturb the neighbors.
Watching t.v. with my daughters till the wee hours of the morning
Just fun...especially Signs, Zombieland, and True Blood till 6AM! Gotta love it!
Emme and Tyler's voices
They are so cute, so precious, and say the funniest things sometimes. Example: I told Emme she had to see me soon and she paused for a moment then said "Umm, um, it's a school night! Sorry, but it's a school night". Or I told Tyler I was watching Iron Man 2 and he said "You? You're watching Iron Man?" As if he was so shocked that I'd be watching Iron Man.
Visiting the hobos with my daughters in Fresno
5 things...The hobos, freaky guy at the bank, Champagne Quality Cars, random skateboarder dude, and make-up! YES, I'm putting my make-up on right here!!!
Extra puppet person with Ash
You can't help but to have fun with the EPP (extra puppet person) while watching/listening to youtube videos! LOL
The Cabbage Patch doll in my room
Why does a 31 year old woman have a Cabbage Patch doll on the shelf in her room you wonder? Well right before my little Emster moved away we went to a garage sale and found 2 Cabbage Patch dolls that were nearly brand new. She took one, I kept the other one so we could be close in heart and mind!
Cuddling up with my kids in bed
Yep, my kids are 14, 12, 6, and 4 but you can bet your a$$ that when they are here, the mattresses go on the floors and we all cuddle up and sleep together. It's not without difficulties at times when Ri insists on putting her knees up so Ash can't see. Or the fact that sometimes, on occasion, Ash requires certain "commands" while she's sleeping so you don't end up with a foot in your face or an arm across your head.
Music
What is life without music?
Katt Williams
Because laughter is the medication for the soul. Oh and you gotta be a star player like poor little tink tink and let the haters hate! LMAO
I share this indulgence with my daughter...perhaps that's not good parenting! lol
Quotes and my quote book
Yes I have a quote book. It's actually called "A Cyclopedia of Quotations". Quotes to me represent my viewpoints and ideals through someone else's words. Oh yeah, I quote lyrics too! lol
Taking pictures
Because they capture memories of course!

- What I'd Say to My 16-Year-Old Self
-
1.) Boy come and go, choose wisely!
Stay away from that crazy dude Howard! You mean the one that wants to tat "Psycho" on his chest so the letters look like dripping blood? Yep, that one! Now for the boy that came before Howard, leave that clusterfuck alone! It's not love, move on, and whatever you do...DON'T LOOK BACK! Think very carefully about the boys you get involved with and don't let your feelings take over your good senses!
2.) Stop writing notes in class. Pay attention to what they are teaching you and do yourself a favor, go home and do your homework! Don't ditch class to see DJ or anybody else for that matter (please refer to #1 when considering ditching for a boy).
3.) Friends come and go! Yep, just like boys so choose wisely in the friend department. You will have few friends from high school that are actually decent people! Here, I'll just give you a list of the "good" ones so we can cut out all the drama and BS. *Janet, *Cheri, *Angie, *Martiel, *Summer, *Amanda, well, you get the point!
4.) That bitch that you call your sister, isn't all she's cracked up to be! Don't trust her because she's a sell-out!
5.) One day you will have an awesome amazing relationship with your dad! He is a great dad and while it seems at the moment you don't know him at all, you know him much better than you can ever realize. Probably because the two of you are alike in many, many ways!
Remember to smile, let the stress roll off your shoulders, smile, and chase your dreams! You are an amazing writer now, and in 15 years you'll write just as well if not better! Save all of your work, cherish it, and do me a favor! Think about writing for the school newspaper and think about a career in journalism as well!
