    • Untitled draft
      • I just created my blog recently. Even though I posted just two writings, I am planning to focus on tax issues and knowledge for the time being.

    • Reflecting at the end of Life
      • It is not plesant to think about death, but anyone cannot avoid the death.
This question seems to be related to how to live instead of how to die.
If I am on my deathbed, I would like to be thinking it was a good life. I could do whatever I wanted to do. I spent quality time with my family and friends, and I was a nice and gentle to people around me. I was not greedy money chaser. I had humor that makes people smile. I was so cheerful that people always feel happier after talking with me. I made an example before people and affect their lives in a posivie way.
I want to die without regretting many things especially in terms of friendship and relationship. I just want to leave a word at the momen when I die. "it was a good life!"

    • Free Day!
      • As I work by day and study by night on online, cancellation of school does not make a difference to me. If my work is cancelled today, I would like to go to see the movie, Kungfu Panda 2.

I have heard that the movie was recently released, but haven't had a time to see it because our new born baby. Even though I am very sorry to my wife who never has time to see a move these days, I would like to see Kungfu Panda 2 with my coworkers.

    • Fiction versus Nonfiction
      • I prefer nonfiction to fiction. I know fiction is a story based on reality, but whenever I read a fiction I cannot help but to think "this is not a real story".
Then my initial interest fades away.

Recently, I picked up a nonfiction, named Freakonomics. At first, I didn't want to read because the printed font was too small, but I happened to read one chapter while I was bored and I became mesmerized in the book.

The book deals with lots of trivial social events in the eyes of economists.
For example, the author raises a question of why do drug dealers mostly live with their mom? He lays tons of research data and concludes they live with their mom because they are financially poor. Even though it seems illegal drug market is profitable, most of profits goes to the top of the drug dealer pyramid. It means that the most of the rest are not making money. Moreover, those low-level drug dealers often encounter the danger of killing, lynch and gun-shot.

All in all, I prefer reading non-fiction because I can relate myself more to the author's opinion when I read non-fiction.

    • If I Were President...
      • If I were president of our company, I will provide free food for every employee at work. Also, I will greatly take care of employee benefit programs. As an employee, I hate to work overtime while others don't have work, so I will do my best to allocate workload effectively to all the employees.

I think president of a company should show a vision and set an example for employees. If I were president, I will spend lots of time to give a clear direction to the company and employees. I will not be a lazy CEO sitting behind the desk, but a field oriented leader who always find a better solution from both top management and employee's perspective.

Becoming a president would not be difficult task, but making a good president is a challenging task. The president would-be should have some qualifications: leadership, vision, creativity, and strong morality to set an good example in front of employees and their family members.

I may not have all the above qualifications.

Nevertheless, if I were president, I will do my best to apply those required qualifications while I learn them at the same time.
