    • Talking Versus Texting: My Preference
      • Cell Phone Cameras

If it's by means of cell phone, I text. I'm not a phone person. I don't like to talk on the phone. It's really awkward. Sometimes there's these pauses of awkward silence and I have no idea what to say to the other person. Sometimes it's like that with texting, too, but apparently that can happen in texting as well- you just don't get a response.

You either figure that that person didn't get the message yet, they don't care, or they're ignoring you, or they feel like they don't have anything to say. I don't like thinking about any of those options so I try to forget about it.

If I can talk to that person in person, I'd rather talk to them. If not, then I will obviously text them or talk to them via AIM or Facebook.

People become too reliable and dependent on cell phones, it's crazy. I feel naked if I forget mine or if I don't have mine in my pocket.

    • Ignorance Is (Not) Bliss
      • I think it's better to know the truth, even if it hurts.. but it also depends on the situation and the timing of telling someone the truth.

If you know someone is lying to a person and you're about to tell that person at a family gathering, don't tell them in front of everyone. Tell the person (who is being lied to) that you need to talk to them alone. Break it to them gently and see how they take the news that someone that is close to them has been lying to them.

I know I would be extremely hurt, but it's definitely best to know the truth.I wouldn't want to be lied to at all. If someone is kind enough to tell a friend or family member the truth, then you know they are your true friends. The person might get angry at first, but eventually they will calm down and you will know you did the right thing.

    • Hello, Mother Nature
      • Spitting Spider.. Explore

kill it, or let it go, depending on if I can reach the spider or not.

If I can reach it, I'll kill it, or ask someone else to kill it for me. The one time, I was about to go to sleep, and I saw a spider next to me on the wall near my bed. It freaked me out, and I actually called my parents to come kill it for me. Do you wanna know how old I was??? 25. HA. Yep. I was 25 and I didn't want to kill the spider because the spider could come onto my bed and bite me.

Oh, but that's not the worst story about bugs- in general. I was laying down on my sofa, and a huge water bug (they like to come out of the drains and love damp and dark places) comes crawling inches away from my face. It had to be one of the biggest bugs I've ever seen. I'm not even exaggerating. I got off the sofa so fast and got a paper towel to kill it- it wasn't even funny. Now it's sort of funny, but the fact that it could've crawled on my face just creeps me out.

    • The Lesser of Two Evils
      • Breath mint tin

Lesser of two evils is definitely bad breath. If someone has bad breath, all you have to do is offer them a gum or a mint...

Body odor is just bad, and if you're sitting next to someone for a long period of time, you can't get away from it. The smell seeps into your nose and that is all you smell. Body odor is absolutely disgusting.

    • Chocolate or Vanilla?
      • Chocolate Carrot Cake

Chocolate. I love chocolate and I can never get enough of it.... it just melts in your mouth and then you want more (it has to be damn GOOD chocolate though).

Vanilla is all right, but it's plain and sort of boring.
