- I Wish I Could Ask Dale Carnegie For Advice!
-
Dale Breckenridge Carnegie.
I'd love to chat with him about the books he wrote on how to influence people. I read them and I love them from the start till the end. He wrote the books in 1930, but still today they are the best on the subject, no doubt. If I could only sit down and get to know this guy, that would be one amazing experience.
We would talk about networks, people, psychology. I'm sure I could talk to him for days just brainstorming everything about the subject and discovering new ideas.
Oh Dale.

- The Worst Pick-Up "Line" / Situation
-
Well, for my integrity I need to follow the red line I set on the previous question.
The worst pick-up line is blindly trying to use a pick-up line. Whatever you say doesn't matter. I want to focus more on the worst pick-up _situation_:
A guy walks into a bar (no, it's not a joke). He doesn't smile and he is wearing an old sweater. He's with some friends and they sit down for 20 minutes. During this time the guy has fallen totally in love with a girl a few tables away from him. He stares at her and after obviously manning up by chugging 3 beers he stumbles over to the beautiful girl.
No matter what he says now the girl will never react to it. One of these things will happen:
1. She ignores him.
2. She talks to him for 30 seconds and then get's saved by a girlfriend
3. She asks him to buy her a beer.

- "A Great Pick-Up Line"?
-
There is no such thing as a successfull pickup-line. You just have to be confident and you can say basically anything. Actually having a pick-up line usually ruins the whole concept of picking up because you are not being yourself.
