So far, there is no other place I can experience beautiful music being made by lesser known talents, without being obliged to give an exorbitant amount, than watching the buskers perform inside Toronto's subway stations.
They are auditioned by TTC officials and they pay $300/year to rent the space they play in. So you know that whatever amount you give them, big or small is going to pay for their space.
