    • A Costco in my town would be nice

      • It's not much to ask

        People who live on our side of the island make special trips and drive 100 miles to get to the other side where Costco is located. Does it really save us that much on food, clothing and household items? I'm not sure. But it is a journey that when planned correctly can be coincided with a beach trip, or a visit to a relative who lives on that side of the island that you hardly get to see, or even an overnighter at a nice resort.

        So, maybe Costco is just the excuse to get outside of the comforts of Hilo and explore the wild wild west. With that said, I suppose it's a good thing we don't yet have one in our neck of the woods. But it would be such a convenience!

        I've been told by several people that I resemble the kid on two and a half men. I may have looked a bit like him in my childhood pics, ...but I hope I didn't act like that!

        As a adult, a few of my friends call me Ernie Els, the golfer. I guess that's my closest resemblance, if you see me from a distance and you blur your vision a little bit! I'd sure like to play like the guy!
