- In response to: "If you were in a movie right now, what music would be playing?" Voodoo Child (slight return) by Jimi Hendrix. I'd be walking into a class room looking like the most badass dude ever, and then Jimi would start ripping on guitar.

Many of us have contemplated what we would do in the event of a zombie invasion, and i must say that around 95% of said people have no idea what the hell they would do. That's where Max Brooks comes in.
His book, the Zombie Survival Guide, is super informative on what the human race would need to do in a zombie based apocalypse. First off, everyone has to be physically fit and have decent stamina. That means your training starts now, not when the outbreak comes. Make sure you're able to squat, deadlift, and benchpress a decent amount of weight. You want to make sure you're in prime physical condition. Second, start training with various weapons. Whether it is going to a shooting range, or training yourself in the art of the bow and arrow, get some knowledge on weapons. Make sure you're savvy with cars and other vehicles just in case.
With that all said, and you're prepped for aciton, make sure you know where Zombies are the weakest. THE BRAIN, shoot them in the fucking head, split their skull with an axe, do what you have to do to kill these flesh eating fuckers.
You're best bet for survival is to take a large boat with a large number of uninfected (perhaps a Carnival Cruise Ship), and dock it near an island. Zombies don't breath, so they can walk under water, but thats it, they don't float and just continue to walk along the ground. If the island contains any infected, kill them, burn them, and be sure to not breath in any of the fumes. Build a base on said island, and hope that humanity will be restored.
So until this zombie outbreak, hit the gym, learn a weapon, and increase you're building/engineering skills.

I honestly cannot just choose one ite, that would be at the top of my wish when it comes to gadgets. I have a Canon XTI, a MacBook Pro, and nice TV.
I guess my one gadget wish would either be a FlipMino HD or a 20" iMac.
I want to the FlipMino HD so i can record some of the crazier things that happen in my life. Being at college, being a member of a fraternity, crazy stuff happens more often then people think. The FlipMino would make documenting the embarrassing, more hilarious moments of my daily adventures much easier. Plus, i enjoy making stupid mini movies during my spare time, and i find it annoying having to lunk around my whole MBP so i can simply use the iSight. The FlipMino is extremely portable, and extremely easy to use. I have no doubt it would lead to some fun times.
On the other hand, i would love to have a new iMac as my desktop computer. Over 2 years ago i built my own desktop having just graduated from a computer tech class i had taken. I was pretty knowledgeable on PCs at the time. I used Newegg and Tigerdirect to order all of my parts, and put it together myself. I felt great doing it, conquering technology and making an awesome computer suitable for all of my needs. It was great, several internal and external hard drives, DVD-R/CD-R, some crazy graphics card and CPU. It was a beast.
Sadly during my first semester of my sophomore year, my house experienced a brown out. Having taken my surge protector to school, my computer fell victim to it, and was fried in the process. It no longer works, and i'm in need of a desktop.
After the purchase of my first Macbook, i realized how awesome OSX was, and how much i had been missing out on over the past few years. iMacs are sleek and powerful machines. Although they cost more than the average PC, you can't go wrong with Apples Protection Plan and the fact that their computers last a very, very long time.
Hopefully within the next year or so I'll have both of these items. If i get any of the paid-internships I'm applying for, i will definitely put some money aside for both of these. Until then, they stay on my wish list.

Protect Ya Neck by Wu-Tang Clan
It's a classic rap song from one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, rap CD's ever. Has the entire Clan on the track, giving you a taste of each of their styles and identities.
Here's To Life by Streetlight Manifesto
This song is about a bunch of notable figures who either committed suicide or stopped doing what they were born to do. The all around message, in my eyes, is just to keep going strong and if you have talent don't waste it. Love life and love what's going on around you.
