- Honestly, how can you live without the Miracle Blade?
-
So maybe not everyone needs to slice aluminum cans in half, but if you did, well then. There you go.
I've gotten so much nonsense for buying the miracle blade that I almost don't like it anymore. Sure, it's cheaply built, made of cheap plastic and not very nice to look at. But seriously, I ask you, how often do you find yourself in a situation where you need to slice tomatoes, warm bread, then immediately need to cut a hole in your drywall? Exactly. It happens all the time. Seriously.

- A year on the road, and 24,000 miles on the odometer

7 people, 1 RV, and 1 year to go anywhere you want. Where would you go?
We were tired of reading about history when so much of history was out there waiting to be experienced. So, we took a year and went to experience history in 3D. It's amazingly rewarding to read about history where history was made. There's something very tangible about it.
That year was amazing and I can't recommend it more highly to anyone else.
Oh, we also went to lots of amusement parks, ate lots of weird food, experienced so many things and met so many people it's hard to believe we did that. But, we have almost 5,000 pictures to prove it, oh and an RV in the front of the house. It did happen, and I wouldn't mind doing it again sometime.

- The Grocery Store made me homesick
-
I like my home, what can I say?
Sometimes I'm sent to the store with the "difficult" child, which is another way of saying the one that's bugging Mom the most. The time I'm thinking of was with my 3yo daughter, who has a very bad habit of asking me to buy her EVERYTHING! Having had enough (after about 150 things) I told her to stop it. It was her reaction which made me want to flee for home. It was an all-out-hissy-fit right there in the cheese and butter aisle. I'm certain that if she'd had a weapon at that moment, she'd have finished me off. People were staring and pointing. As you can imagine, right about then, I wanted with all my heart to be home. Maybe it was my daughter, or maybe it was something more. I guess we'll never know.

- Moose are surprisingly scary up close

We were adopted by a moose. I'm glad we survived. So far
Other than the stomping me and my family to death, I'd really love to have a moose.
