    • A Safe Haven
      • If given resources and land, I'd hire folks to build a small village of a half-dozen houses or so . . . modest, cosy places. I would invite my un or under-employed friends to live rent and worry free for as long as they'd like, including for the rest of their lives. Since we are all getting on in years, I'd like to employ a visiting home health nurse to check on us regularly. We'd have a grove of trees, a small barn for a horse and other animals, a pond for the reptiles, and (of course) a community organic garden. In addition, I'd like a small theatre/studio for music and theatre, the Steinway grand piano of my dreams, and an indoor yoga/dance space. If only this wasn't a dream ....

    • If I could play guitar, I'd play . . .
      • Anything by composer Villa-Lobos, "Seville" for instance. I've always wanted to play Classical guitar, and Andres Segovia is a favorite artist of mine.

    • Smell would go first . . .
      • Smell. So many things in this urban/suburban area smell so terrible: truck &car exhaust, factory emissions, landfills, sewage plants, fertilizer, etc al. Yeah, smell would be the first sense to go if I were given a choice of having to lose one of my senses.

    • She Tried . . .
      • She lived a "short, happy life" of a fool who could not discern true love when it stared her in the face. She was a fool who doubted herself and others who had her best intentions at heart. She was a fool, but she did the best she could. (Better try in the next life.)
