I would rather answer a personal question. An embarrassing challenge is not on my list of must dos in life. Answering a personal question is a statement of fact usually thus making it much easier.

Money ain't always happiness

I would adore to have opportunity to prove or disprove the notion that money cannot buy happiness.

I don't think that money alone can buy happiness. But I do believe that money helps make some happiness possible/more probable.

Money takes away some problems and creates more problems at times.

Money can alleviate problems thus creating happiness. By the same token, some people use money to trade for a form of happiness.

Overall, it depends on the person and the amount of money. The situation and circumstances are heavy hitters in the way everything plays out.
