My life, dude.
[Clichéd answers like yeah.]
A kid is born to a Mexican mother with 7, 8, or 9 siblings, some of whom are lesbian, and a black father whose parents were heavily invested in the civil rights movement.
Four years later, he loses his hearing, gets a cochlear implant, and goes to a school for the deaf.
A few years later, his thumb is mutilated in school due to a door accident.
A while later, he begins to attend "normal" schools with an interpreter. (His neighbor drives the bus.)
A while later, he attends a deaf camp for the first time, and fights off his unnecessary interpreter, along with other people who try to push unneeded accommodations on him.
He gets a girlfriend at 15, whose friends hate him. They are on and off all through high school.
He gets fired from a retail workplace for theft, and he crashes his mom's car the very first time she lets him use it. (Both at 17.)
He goes to college for Deaf Education. He spends his entire freshman year going sexually crazy.
That summer, he is a counselor at the deaf camp he used to attend, and is surrounded by counselors who are all immature... All but one, who he dates. This girl's brother turns out to be...
... His boss for his sophomore year, where he is a Peer Leader in a freshman hall. He changes his major to College Administration, and joins a fraternity.
The following summer, he is alone, a hermit, for three months, as he is charged with monitoring a building of 5 people that he never sees. He wrestles with the thoughts that accompany such a secluded life.
His junior year...
Yeah.
My life would be a great television drama or book.
Wasn't that an exciting short story?
To be continued...

- If I Could Relive Any Day of My Life
-
I think it would be two days ago.
My girlfriend is the first girl I have ever loved, as demonstrated by the fact that I have never once wished or thought of not dating her, unlike the other women.
My life has been brilliant, wicked, and awesome since I started dating her, and it's due to the rare, precious days that we dedicate to each other, even though it's typically a day-long struggle of battling boredom each time.
But on those days, that have both waking up together AND going to bed together, I am happy from start to finish.
And two days ago was like that: I had money, I had my girl, I had no responsibilities, and life shone.
I don't really need much else to be happy; I assume that is the whole point of reliving a day.

I'm Deaf, but I can hear with a cochlear implant.
The most annoying and mind-boggling thing in the world is when people *say* my name to get my attention, and then start signing to me.
Pick a damn language.
How about, if you're standing next to me, I'll whisper to get your attention, and then start talking to you via yelling.

- The common term for being really sick is inappropriately named
-
It should be called,
"term that makes JP giggle and think of sex."
Instead of "bed-ridden."

- Here's a joke
-
Two fish were in their tank.
One fish turns to the other and says,
"You man the guns; I'll drive."
