I have very many scars. Some from when i was a kid falling off a bike and others from playing football. Now some people want to remove their scars and forget they ever showed on their body, but i have quite a few from one accident ill never want to go away
May 9th of 2011, I was riding a bike, yes the one that you pedal, down to a gas station about mile away from my house. Going to the store there is a hill, maybe about a 35 degree decline. Well being the little dare devil I am, I decided to take this hill and push my limits to see just how fast I could take it on. Nearing the bottom of the hill I decided to stand up to create wind resistance to slow myself. Little did I know that the moment i stood on the pedals to even them out, I little slight bend the gear that holds the chain in place, allowed the chain to slip off and wrap around my back tire. This sent me over the handle bars, smacking the left side of my head and left shoulder into the road and sliding into a ditch near by. After waking up looking into the blue sky and feeling the pain of my injuries, I picked up my broke bike and proceeded half a mile back to my house to call for help. I was luck to find my neighbor out in their yard and they then rushed me to the E.R. Now keep in mind I had no helmet or any other protective equipment. After being seen at the hospital, the doctors were surprised i was even able to walk into the room, talk with them, or even hold my cup of water. They told me that I had no broken bones, no damage to my brain, or any serious problems, but what they did tell me was I had injuries that where equivalent to that of a motorcycle going 45 loosing control on the road and they have had people die from those. I walked away with a little less blood, knot on my head, and 2nd degree road rash on my shoulder. Its safe to say that I a purpose in my life and the scars help me remember that day. (the picture above is me at the hospital after the wreck)

I used to live out in the middle of no where, with hills and meadows and forest as far as you could see. When you got a good breeze through the trees and down into the hills with the tall grass moving back and forth under the control of nature and the blue sky above with big fluffy clouds, it always relaxed me. Some people never get a chance to just stop and take in the beauty that the earth already provides us. Some people do but just pass right by the opportunity to soak it all up. For me, get in touch with "Mother Nature" and the beauty she has to offer us has been a great experience in my life and has really opened my mind to becoming more "green". One of the greatest views that I'll never forget.

This is how I clear my mind and get inspired to go father in writing or developing a song.

I usually go off into my room close the door and listen to hip-hop and r&b instrumentals. They give inspiration to write what I'm feeling out on to paper in the form of a rap (or poetry). For example this piece I wrote last night just for fun.

Visions of my future are always never clear
But i keep a smile, my teeth shining from ear to ear
Keep my friends close and my family closer
Haters stay away or eat you up like russell stover
Gotta snap back, the mighty ducks of oregon
Ready for football season cause yes i root for dem
Dont know where i going wit this so ima have to stop
Going crazy off these meds goodbye i have to drop

It's just a fun way for me to loosen up and get inspired to write more or maybe piece together a rap. The sky is the limit.
