    • 'She wolf' sounds different to me now

      • Two songs that I have changed my opinion on.


        She wolf by Shakira

        When Shakira released "She Wolf" I didn't like that song at all, but slowly my opinion changed and I started to like it. I don't know why, maybe because I've always liked Shakira's music and I bought her CD with that song on as well.

        Telephone by Lady Gaga

        My opinion isn't just changed about this song only, my opinion on Lady Gaga in general has changed. I still don't like the way she portray herself in her videos, but I don't hate her anymore. The reason for my changed opinion is that I saw an interview with her by Ellen, and I heard her talk about why she does all the "crazy" things she does and she gained my respect.

    • Why I gave up on "Inkspell"

      • Just a few chapters into Inkspell, Mo (a.k.a. "Silvertongue") sagely says to his daughter, "Stories never really end, Meggie, even if the books like to pretend they do. Stories always go on. They don't end on the last page, any more than they begin on the first page." A fitting meta-observation for this, the unplanned second installment in Cornelia Funke's beloved now-trilogy.

        I don't really know why I never finished this book, might because it never came to and end. In the future I hope to finish this book and Inkdeath to get an end to the story.
