My first job was at a fast food place, and I had to wear this dreadful black skirt. It was the kind of material that attracts cat fur, wrinkles easily, and shows grease stains. It took forevvvvvvver to dry. It had an elastic waistband. It had the tendancy to puff at the belly in a most unbecoming fashion! It was the least attractive length possible, no quite full length OR short. To make matters worse: I was required to tuck my polo shirt in.
