And I could have sworn, I was invincible.
There we're many things I remember getting into trouble for, but one certain event stands out more than others.
I remember that I was 7, sitting out on the hot San Jose sidewalk in front of my house with my brother and some friends in our Cul-de-sac. I was just watching the birds when something solid, cold, and white hit me on the cheek, I picked up the white rock from our yard (which was basically covered in shiny, white, rocks, about the size of your thumb) that my brother threw at me. He and all our friends stood up started to laugh at me. Being 7, thinking that I was invincible, I threw the white rock right back at him...
This event triggered what my friends refer to as "that one rock-fight"
The whole thing escalated into a full-scale, every man for himself, "rock war" where we ran around my neighborhood and threw rocks (even my neighbors rocks, which were about the size of your fist and jagged) at each other, and we threw them at cars, and at windows, and at birds. We broke truces as fast as we made them, we threw those rocks as fast as 7 year old muscles could throw. You could feel it when you were hit, but you ran, and you kept running, because, when your 7, and your bloody and bruised, with the wind in your face and the rocks whizzing past, you were invincible
It's safe to say, I was all bruised and got quite the yelling from my mom the next morning, and I had to work for for the people to pay off the damages done, but during clean-up, I picked up a lone, white rock on the sidewalk in front of our house. Looking at it, it was the rock that my brother thew, the rock that started it all. As I threw that smooth, white, stone in the air, I could have sworn I was invincible.

What I do to relax...
Music, it has to be music, a cool room, and an awesome novel would be so great, it's so rare when I have time to relax these days.
