    • What my shoes say about me
      • Well I'm wearing flip flops... which tells you that I like to be comfy when I'm at home, and that I am completely relaxed. They're worn thin, which shows that I do plenty of walking. Even at home, I'm always getting up to do something or go somewhere. And, although they're not too old, they're very tatty. Some pieces are peeling off! I guess that says I haven't really had the time to buy new ones, haha, and that I don't really mind.

    • My childhood arch enemy
      • Umm, I don't remember any people in particular... But I think I had a lot of enemies. I was sort of a nervous child: shy and afraid of pretty much everything.

When I was ten I used to look at older kids and think, 'I'll never be that smart!' and then I used to worry that I'd never be able to cope with all the work in high school or whatever (even though I was always an above-average student). Then there were natural disasters. I used to be afraid of earthquakes (even though this would've been impossible where we lived), floods, twisters, basically anything that I saw in movies or on the news. And, of course, there were diseases like malaria, or cancer. Again, anything that I'd hear about or see on TV. Serial killers sneaking into my bedroom at night to slit my throat. Car-crashes. Poisonous spiders. You get the picture.

I guess you could say my greatest enemies were my own fears. When I wasn't trying to battle my fears of impending doom, I was a pretty happy kid...

        Hugh Laurie/House
A deadly combination of witty rhetoric and snide cynicism could be a secret weapon, used to beat worn-out dancers.

        Simon Cowell
I'd love to see him try... hehe. And, it's a double bonus because you could shove him to the front, and use him as a human shield!

    • I'm on fire
      • Literally:
I caused an explosion when I was trying to light a stove (don't ask), and ended up burning my hand pretty badly.

        Figuratively:
Well, for about a decade now (more than half my life, hehe) I've had this idea that I was going to study somewhere far far from home. I've been on fire about it for so long, and now that's it's actually happening, I'm even more fired up! I'm on fire, I think...

        Whatever:
What else is there other than literally and figuratively? Maybe something in between? Well, one time I was so 'fired up' (figurative) about canoeing, that I spent hours doing it, and as a result, I ended up being burnt very badly by the sun (literal). I did it, I combined a figurative being 'on fire' and a literal one! Now I'm all fired up about that! And I'm not really making sense anymore... Oh well...

    • Me
      • Useless Me!

Un Día Aburrido / A Boring Day

I'm doing nothing, being nothing, earning nothing, owning nothing... Utterly useless, and utterly content, too. Soon I will be very useful, I'm sure, but who cares about that, right? For now I'm useless...

Oh, and that is not a pic of me, in case you were wondering.
