    • What Keeps Me Up at Night
      • Mostly the only thing every year.. Christmas! Last year, in the two months leading up to Christmas Day, I had many a sleepless night. I get too excited dammit! Not just thinking about presents I might get but stuff I've bought for other people too. I can't wait for them to be opened! So I guess this year will be no different. It's only August and I've already bought some people presents. I think I have an addiction?

    • If I Could Relive Any Day of My Life
      • Aberystwyth

One of the absolute best days of my life remains to be the day I surprise visited all my best friends at Aberystwyth Uni. Last Sept 2009, I went to France to do a Teaching Assistantship for 7 months while all my friends were continuing their degree courses. I missed them so much that I decided I would go and see them all around Hallowe'en time for a week or so. But I kept it a secret!! I don't know how I did it but one day I got up at 6am in France and caught a train, taxi, plane, bus and another few trains to travel 11 hours to Aber. All that time, I had been texting to say I was in the library in the South of France and suddenly, knowing they were all going to a pub, I turned up and surprised them all! They were so shocked but it was amazing and that was one of the best and most exciting days of my life :D

    • What I Like Most About My Job
      • I study French and Spanish at Aber Uni in Wales. And it's the best decision I've ever made. Even though sometimes, I may feel as though I've bitten off more than I can chew, my degree has given me opportunities I never would have gotten had I not studied languages. First of all, languages is all about communication so that one skill that I have infinitely improved in. Next, my level in two beautiful languages is much better than before and also, it is integral to my course that I spend my Third Year abroad in both countries. This has allowed me to work for 7 months in France as a Teaching Assistant (an experience which has been invaluable to me) and 1 month in Spain to follow a language course and immerse myself in Spanish culture. Last of all, I have met some amazing people in my degree with whom I'll be friends for years to come.
