      • My phone, because I never know when someone might need me.

My Keys, because I can't really get back into my flat without them.

My sunglasses, because I get headaches if I don't wear them when the weather is sunny :(

Lip balm, because I'd be lost without it

My Purse, because you never know when I might need something, like money, or my Boots Card

Chewing Gum, because I like chewing gum (it helps fight off chocolate cravings!!)

    • My School Reunion
      • Honestly? No, I really would not attend my School Reunion.

I know that a lot of people say that School is the best years of your life, and don't get me wrong I have a huge amount of amazing memories from my school days, but I have a huge amount of very shitty ones too.

For me, there are just too many people that I never want to be in the same room with again. I know that people change, and grow up, but I don't feel like being forgiving, on this one.

I went to School to learn, and they seemed to care little for doing anything other than picking on kids that they knew were too quiet/shy to stand up for themselves.

I want to move on, and that doesn't involve those people. The only people that I am interesting in knowing, at all, are the people that I share a part of my life with, on Facebook or in real life.

I don't need to be plonked in the middle of a room, full of school bullies where I regress back to that awkward 13 year old, thanks very much!!

    • The Cops Caught Me
      • What did you do to land yourself in the back of a police car?!

Seriously? If I ever ended up in the back of a police car my Dad would have killed me, since he's an ex-policeman!!!

    • Top 3 Historic Events I've Experienced
      • -The Death of Diana. I was thirteen, it was the summer holidays (a weekend I think), and I was the first person up. I'd wanted to watch cartoons, but every channel was news. At first I was annoyed that they'd replaced my favourite cartoons with the news, but I quickly realised what had happened.

I don't remember much more about that day, other than every radio channel just played really sad music.

-9/11. I was seventeen, and I was in A Level English Literature, when a girl started talking about a bomb going off in New York, but I didn't really think much of it.

It was a Tuesday, which meant that my Dad was picking me up from College, after he'd been swimming, and he needed to go to ASDA, so I sat in the car. I remember sitting there listening to the New Yorkers who'd experienced it first hand, crying and not able to comprehend what had happened. And then the stories of certain "groups" who were cheering, which made me feel sick.

It wasn't until I got home and watched the footage on the telly, that I realised what had happened. I walked in the living room, and my mum was just stood there watching it in silence. She'd witnessed the second plane going into the tower live earlier, and still couldn't get her head around it.

For months that day haunted me. Seeing pictures of people leaping out of the towers, was just...I can't even describe it.

-Obama becoming President. It seems weird to think this was so special, and looking back, perhaps it wasn't really. But, when Obama became president, I honestly believed that it was a big deal. I know it was in America, and wouldn't be that bid a deal to us in the UK, but it kind of was.

There was this little glimmer of hope, that we Brits would get our heads out of America's asses in the sense of going into battles that were nothing to do with us.

But then another part of me, really hoped that something like that would happen in the UK. That we would elect this inspirational person to run our country. Instead, we got David Cameron!!

    • Like asking a Nun to Describe Sex!!
      • This question, for me, is like asking a Nun to describe sex!!

Why? Because I don't drive, and I have never even sat at the wheel of any type of vehicle - no joke!

        Car wreck

When I was about to turn 17 (so just over 10 years ago), my parents offered me driving lessons, just like they had done with both of my older brothers. My response?

        "Hmmm...no thank you."

I've half considered learning a few times, but for some reason, it just does not interest me. I have my Provisional License, which I use for ID, and I sometimes wonder if a person can be too old to still be showing a provisional for ID....hmm, can you imagine an 80 year old being ID'd in Argos (this has honestly happened before), and showing a provisional? If you haven't learnt by then, you probably never will!!

My problem is (well, I don't really consider it a problem, but I can imagine a lot of people who do know how to drive would consider it to be a problem), is that I have so many reasons why I don't want to drive!!

        1. It costs to much money to buy the car, MOT the car, put petrol in the car, pay Road Tax, repair work blah, blah, blah! And, I don't know, I could just find more interesting things that I'd rather spend the money on!! And with fuel prices just going through the roof, well, it just adds more ammunition to my fire!

        2. Other drivers are SCAAAAARY! Seriously, I really want to know how some drivers managed to pass their tests? They drive erratically, too fast, have absolutely no patience, are aggressive, think that they always have right of way when they clearly don't. Have absolutely no consideration for a. other drivers, b. paedestrians and c. cyclists. They are practically a danger to themselves.

        3. Paedestrians who have a death wish. The number of people that I see crossing the road without even a slight glance is absolutely shocking!!

        4. Cyclists, well the few that actually ride on the road, have evidently never done their Cycling Test at School. Enough said!

        5. Driving in the rain scares me

        6. Roundabouts should be illegal

        7. Driving at night scares me

Seriously, I could just go on and on. And, I have absolutely no problem catching public transport. In fact, being the daughter of a train spotter, I think I'd miss travelling on trains, if I had a car.

I also think that driving would make me lazy, and come on, I'm lazy enough as it is!!

If, on the other hand, there was a little pill or something like The Matrix that I plugged into and just knew how to drive, then great, but I don't want to learn. It's too expensive, and I think I'd be one of two types of driver: a. The really annoying carefully (painfully) slow driver, that is always one mile below the speed limit or b. a complete speed freak. I'm not really sure which would be worse, and I don't really fancy finding out!!!
