    • Definitely Have Been There Before.
      • Afternoon Sun

I walked slowly through the field, whistling an unfamiliar strain that was a melodious car crash. Fanatic rhythm, frenzied tone. It was a low sound, more from my gut than from my mouth.

The road was gravel and crunched underneath my shoes. It countered my tune, provided an uneasy percussion. I was trying to let my body talk to me, take me away, somewhere. Instead, my memory seemed to seize and convulse. Not with deja vu, but with sadness.

When I came to solid oak in the pasture, lone except for a few stragly bushes, I parked myself in the shade. It felt like the first time I had been outside in over a decade. The air felt cool over my skin, the smell crisp like burning leaves. The sun hung low, but large enough to tickle the hairs on the back of my neck.

        I felt released.

It was peaceful here. My mouth, my gut quieted. Only the quiet melody of dusk. I stretched out and let myself soak in the sun, soak in the air, soak in nature. There was nothing more elemental, stirring, beautiful than this moment. I savoured it.

        I was free.

The room that had trapped me had been a quarter of quarter of a quarter of the stretch of land before me. What once may have seemed small now seemed infinite. Remote, like a past memory. For hindsight isn't really 20/20, I knew. No, hindsight was a vision of a cataract, cloudy and reducing the color of blue. So much looking into the past would eventually make you go blind.

So I stared really into nowhere, into this great abyss where maybe anything was possible. Or maybe I had been here before. Maybe, in some ways, I had always been here stretched out underneath the solid oak tree in the pasture, the cool breeze tickling my skin, the smell of Autumn harsh in my nose, the low sun fading behind the hills.

I stared from the window and felt like I'd been there before. Yeah, definitely have been there before.

    • My Earliest Memory
      • Yellow Lotus in Lalbagh Pond

I think I still remember when my Dad brought me to a wild park near a cemetery. There was a little pond with lots of small fishes swimming in it and lotus flowers blooming above, despite the mud that makes the water looks dark. We brought home the fishes in a big plastic bag, which then they are transferred into a big jar. I was four and he is now long gone. I miss you Dad.

    • If I Could Be a Character From a Book, I'd Be...
      • Tintin.

I like Tintin's blandness, his blankness, his lack of depth; he is an empty page on which adventures can be drawn. He is clearly a friendly and honourable chap; his dog is loyal, his friends dependably amusing, his way of life both comfortable and interesting.

    • My Superhero's Special Power
      • He is the Moon

If I were a superhero, I would choose to gain these abilities:
        1. Invisibility
Ability to render the user unseen to the naked eye.
Why? Should I answer that, seriously? You could practically do 'almost' everything that you wanted while being 'almost' safe to do it. Morality is irrelevant.

        2. Energy sourcing
So that I am able to draw power from large or small but abundant sources of energy, such as turning kinetic energy into physical blasts or converting solar energy into other forms. I don't need food, water or sleep anymore. Godly?

        3, Technopathy
So that I am able to manipulate technology. Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows for mental interface with computer data. How good it is to have every information about anything on the tips of your finger, literally, while being able to control any devices anytime, anywhere, anyhow...

        4. Telekinesis
So that I am able to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye. That makes me a central of universe. Just by sitting here, I can have everything 'fly' to me, or 'across' the room or 'to' the unexpected victims...

        5. Astral projection
So that I am able to separate and control my astral body. I can travel inter dimension, time, space, anywhere in my astral form. Have you ever thought to visit a Heaven now while without dying, obviously?
