Moonlight Shadow, written by Mike Oldfield. Especially some of the fast techno versions, because that makes it extra fun.
The last that ever she saw him
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
He passed on worried and warning
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Lost in a river last Saturday night
Far away on the other side.
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through
The trees that whisper in the evening
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
All she saw was a silhouette of a gun
Far away on the other side.
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through
I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away
I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away
Four am in the morning
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
I watched your vision forming
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Star was light in a silvery night
Far away on the other side
Will you come to talk to me this night
But she couldn't find how to push through
I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away
I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away
Far away on the other side.
Caught in the middle of a hundred and five
The night was heavy but the air was alive
But she couldn't find how to push through
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Far away on the other side.

- To Have Loved and Lost
-
Life is made richer through experience, so it's better to love and then lose that love than to wonder what might have been. I spent many years wondering that, not giving people a chance. When I finally did, I haven't ever regretted it, even when that love made me sad, or angry, or confused.
After all, what would I have if I had not let this person into my life? Perhaps I would have more time to write, have less miles on my car, and get more sleep, but emotionally, my life would be emptier. I would be doing myself a disservice not allowing myself the experience.
It's not all sunshine and roses, but I wasn't expecting it to be either.

- Halloween

The picture is from this website: here. It's a Halloween wallpaper.
Yes, I celebrate Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays. Some of my best childhood memories are going from house to house trick or treating. My parents had to make me stop when I was thirteen. I went anyway, got caught, and got in a lot of trouble. But it was worth it. >_>
I like to at least wear kitty ears to work if I happen to be working on that day. One year I wore kitty ears, pajamas, and big tiger feet slippers. I was ready for a cat nap. ^_^
I also like some of the scary movies that come out in October. I'm a big wuss, but my boyfriend enjoys watching me watch them.
And I just got a new puppy that I will probably be dressing up in a costume, at least for a couple of pictures. His name is Nemo, and he's a Shiba Inu.

- The Weirdest Food I've Ever Eaten
-
Baby octopus salad. Whole baby octopi in a salad.
It was kind of nutty in flavor, but it's been a while and I only had it once, so I don't really remember now. I just remember the eyes. They were creepy, staring at me as I put a whole one in my mouth. I ate it because I wanted to say I'd tried it, and now that I have I don't feel it's necessary to have it again.
