        I ALWAYS think the book is better than the movie. So many times, I have been disappointed, to the point where I feel as though the movie has almost ruined the book for me. It might be that, when I read a book, I bring my own perspective on characters, setting, and problems, so when I am subjected to another's perspectives, and they don't mesh with mine, I feel cheated somehow. Very odd. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised sometime. And sometime soon, because I'm just about to give up on seeing movies made from books.

    • My Favorite Summer Sound

      • Little frog, loud noise

        My favorite summertime sound is definitely the sound of frogs "talking" at the lake. This sound occurs at night, and it is a sure indicator that I am enjoying those lazy summer days. They are most obvious while outside at night, enjoying a campfire at the cottage, or while falling asleep with the windows open. I LOVE that sound!

    • If I Had A Magic Wand

        Oh. This one has always been my dream. If I had one super power - i.e. a magic wand, for example - I would use it to stop time. That's right. I've always wanted to be able to stop time in the mornings, when I'm dead tired, so I can get some more sleep before I have to get up. Or stop time before a test or when something is due for school so I have more time to complete it. Or stop time when I have to get something done - like laundry - but just haven't had enough time. Yep. Stop time. That's what I'd do with my magic wand.
