    • The Hotest Hot Versus the Coldest Cold
      • This is hard. I have definitely experienced extremely hot weather. I am from Las Vegas, NV and have spent a lot of time in Phoenix, AZ as well. Both extremely hot. I didn't mind the heat at all. Until I moved to Provo, UT. Summers are hot, but winters can get pretty chilly. Definitely not extremely cold though. Now, when I go home, I cannot handle the extremely hot summers in Vegas. I hate it. Right now, I am so looking forward to the day it snows finally. And I love early mornings in Utah because its about 35 degrees. But that is in no way extremely cold. The coldest I have experienced is -10 degrees. So, until I experience extremely cold weather, not sure I can answer this well. For now, I'll say extremely hot is worse. You can only get so naked...but, you can put on lots and lots of layers and be relatively warm.

    • Top Albums I Listened to While Growing Up
      • Alanis Morissette was the first CD I ever got. It was her Jagged Little Pill album. I remember going with my dad to the music store, spending hours listening to music and trying to decide which CD I would spend my $17 of allowance I had saved up to get it. My favorite tape cassette I owned was one of Jewel's. I can't remember the album...Foolish Games was on it. Pretty sure I listened to that song on repeat for about four years. Listening to my dad's The Who and The Police albums with my whole family on his old record player was one of my favorite things to do. I still listen to all four of those albums. When I got a little older, I started listening to Britney Spears, N'SYNC, A*TEENS, Backstreet Boys...and every other early 00's pop group you can think of. And, I can't deny the fact that every once in a while, my friends and I need a good flashback to the good ol' days when we had nothing to worry about but the color of our slap bracelet and how perfect our zig-zag parts were.

    • Home Is...
      • Being that I am living away from the home I grew up in and going to college in another state, home is something that has been hard to define. I definitely don't think that it's a specific place. While I was living in Vienna, I felt like I was home. While currently living in Provo, UT I feel like this is home. And when I am at home in Las Vegas with my family, I feel like I am home. It is most definitely a feeling. Partially people as well, but in all those three places that feel like "home" to me, none of the same people are there. It's about familiarity with the place, the culture, the region, the people. In essence, I think anywhere can be home for me.

    • When I'm at My Best
      • In the mornings, after I have been awake for about an hour, I am so ready to conquer the world and be more productive than I could possible imagine. Then, as soon as I lay down on my bed again, or sit down on my couch, or 3 o'clock rolls around, I'm done for. I'm also at my best when I've just showered, gotten ready, and eaten a good meal.

    • Living in Other Countries
      • Absolutely. I lived in Austria for 4 months and I loved every minute of it. In fact, I would probably prefer living in another country over living in the states, at least sometimes. Not that I don't love America, I just love traveling. I would live in Austria again. Probably for the rest of my life. I would also live in Germany, or Switzerland, or Japan. Or Sweden. Or France. Or Argentina. All for any amount of time. The longer the better.
