- Pets (And Why None of Them are Mine)

The only animals I have in my life are not mine, they don't live with me and are owned by friends, family, or coworkers. And really, I don't spend a whole lot of time with them, but they are still there for comfort and smiles.
Mostly, there's Amos, our family dog that's back at my parents' house. He's a giant black Lab, full of love, adores being petted, and lately has been sleeping in the garage in his own bed with his own teddy bear. He's extremely lovable, adorable, and did I mention huge (so quite huggable)?
There's also Bo, my boyfriend's big tabby cat, Cooper, my friend John's miniature schnauzer, Riley and Bhrea, my coworker's dogs that come into the office sometimes, and the tabby cat that lives in housekeeping at one of my jobs. Although I don't spend much time around them, and they are not my animals, they're still nice to have around sometimes, and remind me of the animals I want someday.
I've been wanting a cat for a really long time. Just one cat to live with me in my apartment. However, I opt not to because I know I don't have the time and money to put towards a cat that it would deserve to have a good life. It would be in my house all alone most of the time, and that's really not fair. Maybe when I have my own house I'll have a little beagle and maybe a cat, but that is still a few years out from now.

Not at all, although to be perfectly fair I don't watch TV enough to see them. I make my decisions about what candidates I like based on their politics, their views on social and economic issues, and whether I think they would be best for our country. Plus, advertisements tend to be horribly biased and overexaggerated, no matter what side is presenting them. I want someone who is both book-intelligent and has enough common sense and level headed leadership to give the best of themselves to our country.
