    • Good deeds don't go unnoticed
      • The nicest deed a stranger has ever done for me is let me pass in the lane in front of them on the highway. Usually, drivers are very selfish and will not allow me to, however, this person did. It makes me feel good inside when I receive random acts of kindness when I least expect them.

    • I left Arirang stuffed
      • Arirang is my absolute favorite Hibachi restaurant to eat at. When you walk in, you are surrounded by the Japanese culture with a coi fish pond to the right. Once you are seated and orders are taken, a Japanese chef comes and cooks your food right in front you. A show is combined with cooking; the chef performs tricks with the food until finally, he serves the food. I usually order the shrimp dish, my favorite. After dinner, dessert is served which for me, consists of sherbert ice cream. Every time I visit Arirang on Route 9 in Parlin, New Jersey, I am stuffed for hours after. The food and service is always impeccable.

    • Gymnastics USA Team was a surprise
      • Gymnastics USA Team
When I was young, I was always involved in gymnastics; I belonged to Rebound Gymnastics in Cliffwood, NJ. However, I felt that myself and a few of the girls on the team were not given equal opportunity, so I left and enrolled in Worldwide Gymnastics in Old Bridge. As soon as I arrived, I was placed on the USA Team which trained young girls for the Olympics. I was filled with happiness because I was now given equal opportunity and could excel. Gymnastics had a whole new meaning after I switched gyms.

    • I'm proud
      • I am proud of my brother for many reasons. He is an architecture student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology; the architecture program is among the most rigorous programs. Endless hours of studio in addition to projects leave him barely any time for leisure. I value his dedication to the major he loves and the hard work he has put into his projects for the past three years.
