      • In response to: "What was the comfort food you enjoyed most growing up?" Pancakes! Hot ones, with butter dripping off and a river of hot boysenberry syrup on top. Then washed down with some ice cold milk.

      • Scrambled Eggs and Toast

        Get a nice little pan hot on the stove then melt butter until it's sizzling a bit. Meantime whip eggs with salt, pepper, and cumin. Pour 'em into the pan and let them start to ccok on the bottom. Flip the eggs and scramble lightly, not to much now! Take the pan off the burner and let the heat do the rest of the cooking. This way the eggs will stay soft but cooked through. Serve with sliced oranges and bacon. Try to share.
