    • My favorite place to hear music: Toad's Place

      • Tucked a way in little New Haven, Connecticut between the ivy league walls of Yale, and the crazy guido club scene is a venue called Toad's Place.

        I feel like a lot of my high school memories were made here. The venue is on the smaller side, it has an intimate feel where you really feel one with the band. The place can really rock too, many different bands from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Finch have played there. During high school I spent many a night here rocking out to not only big bands but supporting the local scene as well. My favorite memories from Toad's was definitely meeting some of my favorite bands and having them ask me to join them on tour, too bad I was a mere 14 years old and was not legal because I bet that would have been unreal. Toad's rocks!!!

        I hate condensation!!! You know condensation is that stupid water trick that when you drink something cold and it starts to melt and slowly water drips from the outside of the cup. UH. It mades my hand wet and cold (gross!) and not to mention whenever you put the cup it leave wetness

    • My Favorite Comfort Food

      • Italian food= Comfort


        Pasta with a Chicken Lemon Cream Sauce

        Usually anything Italian. Just because I'm half italian, and italian food reminds me of home, and family and comfort. My family definitely is comfort to me, so whenever I'm missing home or just feeling down, I whip up one of the familia recipes and find a little happiness.

        Mac and Cheese is definitely also a comfort food for me, but I haven't found a mac and cheese that compares to my mom's. She's an amazing cook, and really I think her food in general is comfort, because its made with love.

    • That Special Book in My Life

      • I Can Read This Over and Over


        To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I actually have read the book every summer since I was 14. I love that book, the story just never gets old for me. I also feel I take something new away from the story every time I read it. I wish I lived in Maycomb, Alabama (if it existed). The book is really a roller coaster ride of emotions, it makes me laugh, it makes me cry, it makes me think. I feel like the book is just a beautiful piece of work.
